A request to release the LTI 20.20 type approvals test scenario documentation.
We released the following information on 03 October 2011.
There are two sorts of tests that are performed for type approval, as explained in the attached process:
• tests conducted by two or three police forces for ACPO, and
• laboratory-based tests against Home Office guidance.
As an example of the former, we include the plan drawn up by ACPO for police tests of the LTI 20-20 TruSpeed laser speedmeter (contact and personal details have been redacted).
