Online tracking service

Online tracking is a free service that allows applicants and countersignatories to follow the progress of CRB applications through the various stages of the checking process, without needing to contact the CRB.

 The service will show:

• what stage the application has reached in the checking process
• if an application had to be returned due to errors
• if the results of the CRB check have been dispatched

Individual applications

To track an individual application you will need to have the following:

• an application form submitted to the CRB
• an application form reference number
• the date of birth of the applicant

Check the progress of an individual application.

Multiple applications

For those people who are registered to countersign application forms the service allows them to track all of the applications they have submitted to the CRB.

It will also allow a lead countersignatory to access all the applications submitted by their organisation.

To track multiple applications you will need to provide the:

• registered body number
• countersignatory number
• countersignatory's date of birth

Ordering blank application forms

Registered organisations and countersignatories who can access the multiple applications tracking service will also be able to order blank application forms online using the same log on details.

Once logged on to the multiple applications tracking screen an option will be available to ‘request blank application forms.’

Individuals and employers who are not registered with the CRB are unable to order application forms or apply online for a CRB check.
