Race Equality Impact Assessment on the Criminal Justice Review
The report, ‘Rebalancing the Criminal Justice System In Favour Of the Law-Abiding Majority’, examines the functions of the criminal justice system from policing through to courts to prison and probation. The plan outlines the progress to date, sets out clear proposals, and begins a debate to ask what more can be done to redress the balance within the criminal justice system. This document analyses what impact, if any, reform is likely to have on racial equality efforts within the criminal justice system.
