PACE review: government proposals in response to the review of the police and criminal evidence act 1984
This consultation paper sets out proposals on police powers and procedures.
The aim of this review is to establish from police and those who work with them, as well as the public whether the act and the codes of practice are still appropriate, proportionate, and relevant to the criminal justice system.
The consultation paper is available in both PDF and Word format.
