Diversity & Equal Opportunities Report 2004 / 2005 - non-agency Home Office

The purpose of this report is to:

  • examine whether Home Office employment and recruitmen processes are providing equality of opportunity
  • provide a benchmark against which the success of our 5-year race and diversity programme can be measure, and an impetus for that work

The report sets out the results of employment monitoring between 1 April 2004 and 31 March 2005 in respect of race, gender, disability and age.

The data relates specifically to those employees in the core Home Office and staff in the Immigration and Nationality Directorate.  Other parts of the Home Office Group are not included in this report and make their own monitoring arrangements separately.
