Criminal Records Bureau - regulations under pt 5 of the Police Act 1997
The nature of this proposal is the introduction of quality standards for Registered Bodies counter-signing applications for criminal record Disclosures under Part 5 of the Police Act 1997. The quality standards would cover, in particular, the accurate completion of Disclosure application forms and the verification of applicants' identity. The standards are to be introduced through the attachment of conditions to a registration.
