Immigration control


We collect statistics on various aspects of immigration control. These cover:

• entry control
• asylum
• after-entry control
• grants of settlement
• enforcement
• appeals

These statistics are published in an annual Home Office Statistical Bulletin which also contains a summary table on migration.

Grants of citizenship are published in the Citizenship Bulletin. We also quality assure figures on the Worker Registration Scheme, and the Bulgarian and Romanian Accession Statistics.
