We have a received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:

Please can I have the figures (from the beginning of 2004) of unaccompanied asylum seeking children who on initial application for asylum have had their application:

(a) accepted
(b) refused and been given discretionary leave to remain
(c) Refused and appealed against the decision and been given a positive outcome (e.g. humanitarian protection or refugee status)
